It seems the caption of the photo of me yesterday after chainsawing, should have read, "Blood, sweat, sawdust and chiggers." Even though I sprayed heavily, I am covered with chigger bites today and I'm in itch agony.
I managed to squeeze in a few miles in the early morning while it was still cool. Beautiful early light with lightning in the north and east. With dawn approaching, a cloud in the west showed white on top of a dark cloud. The sun was still so far below the horizon it was hard to believe some of its light was reaching the cloud so far in the west part of the sky.
