Only one picture today. I've seen horses lying completely flat but I'm not sure if I've ever seen a cow lying in that position. At first, I wondered if she was dead but then I saw her ear twitch and later her tail swatting at flies. As I stopped to take a picture, the other cow to the left approached and then lay down next to the completely prone cow as if to keep her company. I still wonder if anything was wrong with her.
Another beautiful day to be out riding and I wish I could have been out longer. I've missed my 24 mile mark the past couple of days but that's all right as I'm sure I'll have an opportunity to make it up another time.
My heart-felt thoughts for Jordan, a young man who is battling cancer and has had a very rough time the past couple of days. I know of him through Sharon who has been a loyal blog follower as well as a contributor to Biking for Food. Hoping things are improving for him today, Sharon.
