I finally got around to not only trying on but taking for a test ride some new bike shorts I bought last week. I couldn’t believe how good they felt and I was tempted to ride with only the one pair. I wish I had taken them for a test ride last week before the 24er. Better late than never.
After a full morning of errands, I headed for the bike trail for the ride today.
The area below, a swampland restoration area, can sometimes resemble a small lake. I"m not sure exactly what attracts me in this picture; perhaps the contrast of the brown against the green. And, also, maybe the fact that even though it's right off the trail, it feels like a very verboten area, secretive, a world unto itself.
Something very surreal about this cloud. The rooftops seem to add to that feeling as if the cloud and houses are from two different worlds.
The posterior definitely feels much better but, energy wise, still dragging a bit. As promised, another short posting today as I’m still in a serious time crunch this week.
