23 October 2011 Ride:

A quick post today as the kitchen needs to be cleaned from after dinner and I need some recouping time.  The quads are a bit achy from the ride yesterday and then today.

  Sunrise walk.

Parked at Wilson Park and ended up heading down Hwy 71 till the West Fork bridge south of West Fork and circled back in various fashion.

The pump above first caught my eye because Rachel commented about a week ago when we passed a similar pump, "Wow.  Look at that old pump."  I thought that interesting since we older folks don't necessarily think of the above pump as an antique.  And then the sign on the pump really caught my eye as I envisioned going into a grocery store and seeing signs posted under food items that says food price will be doubled at the cash register.

Note the hand crank on this old model.

Today's Ride:  3hrs. 35mins.  45.03 miles    65°-72°   Miles YTD:  7,845.42

Number of miles per day needed to reach 10,000 miles by the end of the year: 31.23
