When I was pulling my bike out of the garage, I heard a distance cackling sound that didn't sound quite like ducks or geese or any other gaggle of birds I had heard before. I looked up and WAY up in sky, I'm guessing about a mile or so, was the largest V formation of geese I have ever seen. Actually, about three Vs but one very enormous one. I don't normally like to include unclear photos but I think the enormity of the V still is impressive in this shot. I have the capability with the new camera to zoom in on a picture after it's taken and in this photo this has been zoomed to the maximum giving some indication of how far up the geese are.
A cool grey day today with some light rain sprinkles during the ride. Very pleasant actually.
